Flight Information

As Puerto Rico is an unincorporated territory of the United States, it is treated as a domestic destination, even though it is not a state and has retained a separate identity. For that reason, Americans can fly to San Juan without needing a passport.

You will fly into San Juan, Puerto Rico. The airport is Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU). Click here to view the airport map.

More than 20 commercial airlines fly in and out of the city every day, and there are more than 1,450 nonstop and direct flights to San Juan from the major cities in the U.S.

You will arrive at the airport’s lower level and must walk a few steps towards Terminal A or B to claim your baggage. Passengers then exit to the airport’s public area to catch a ride to their destination.

The conference location, the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Resort, is 20 miles from the airport and is an approximate 35 min drive.
